You don't need to add separate serums for each of these ingredients unless there's something else you particularly enjoy using or want to target.

Yes, the Gel-Serum does not contain retinol.
Instead, it contains RetinArt™, a bio-retinoid derived from the microalgae Chlorella vulgaris. It was selected as a gentler alternative for supporting skin renewal and the visible signs of ageing, without the irritation commonly associated with traditional retinoids.
If you've previously found retinol too irritating, the Gel-Serum may therefore be a gentler option.
Absolutely. If you already use a retinol, vitamin C, exfoliating acid or another active you love, you don't need to stop using it when you start the Gel-Serum.
The Gel-Serum is designed to simplify your routine, not dictate it. You can continue using other actives you enjoy — you may simply find that, with so much already covered in one formula, you don't need as many of them.

The Gel-Serum has a lightweight gel texture that spreads easily and absorbs quickly without a heavy or greasy finish.
It has a soft natural aroma of ylang ylang and amber. We don't use synthetic fragrance; its scent comes from the botanicals and small amounts of essential oils within the formula. The scent is noticeable without being overpowering.
